BOOKS AND THE BEACH

Hi all! Happy Weekend :) So, I've had a couple of free time in my hands recently and guess what I'm filling my free time with? READING! Yes, I love books. I think I’m a book hoarder if that makes any sense haha. There’s a word for it, ‘Bibliomania’, but that’s not what I’ve got as that’s an obsessive-compulsive medical condition (you might want to read up on that if you think you are an obsessive book hoarder). I only have about thirty books I'm hoarding at the moment so it doesn't count as being a bibliomaniac, Right? Yes, right.

Anyway, I recently got my hands on the complete series of “Lemony Snicket’s A series of Unfortunate Events”. Thirteen books in total and Netflix just made a series out of the first four books, the rest will follow I am sure. Growing up, I loved reading these books for some reason, If you're a fan, You Go girl! If you haven’t heard about these books I suggest you don't read them at all for they are filled with a series of unfortunate events endured by the Baudelaire Orphans. (Fiction, don't worry)

Last week I started reading Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterfly. If you have seen the movie, the book is way more informative and although I have not finished reading, there’s a lot I have learned already (I read more than one book at a time, bad habit? Oh well).  Fun fact, I live close to the beach and as much as I love the beach, I've not had the time to go out there and just read one of my favorite books from beginning till the end, would be fun to do ey? (pinning this down in my to-do list).

While I plan my next beach and books visit, taking this time to reminisce the aesthetics of the beach and I have just the right pictures for that :)

As I end this post, Blue Skies by Diana Krall just came up on shuffle and you know what they say? If you're going through any negativity right now, don't worry for joy comes in the morning. I hope you get nothing but blue skies from now on.
Love, M.
